幼少よりクラシックバレエを学び、1990年代に珍しいキノコ舞踊団、Nibrollなどの作品に出演。

2001年、フランス政府給費留学生として渡仏し、CDC Toulouse/Midi-Pyrénéesに在学。

振付家Marco Berrettini、Nadia Lauro、映像作家Sharon Lockhartらの作品に参加。

同年、ダムタイプの《Voyage》クリエーションを機にメンバーとして活動を開始し、《2020》（2020）にも出演。

また高谷史郎のパフォーマンス作品《明るい部屋》（2008）、《CHROMA》（2012）、《ST/LL》（2015）にダンサー／振付として参加し、国内外で公演を行う。

2010年より岡山県を拠点に活動を展開し、奈義町現代美術館、大原美術館などで作品を発表。

自身のプロジェクトとして、民話や異類婚姻譚に見られる変身やクィア性をテーマとした《猿婿》（2014–）、《Ghosting》（2016）、土地と身体の関係を探る《咆哮のコレオグラフィー》（2022–）などを創作。

2025年には《Disco on the planet》を発表。

音楽家や能楽師との協働、映像·舞台·テレビドラマの振付など活動は多岐にわたる。

2016年、福武文化奨励賞受賞。

Started classical ballet training in early childhood, and performed with Japanese companies including Rare Mushroom Dance Company and Nibroll in the 1990s.

In 2001, moved to France as a recipient of a French Government Scholarship and studied at CDC Toulouse/Midi-Pyrénées. Worked with choreographer Marco Berrettini, scenographer Nadia Lauro, and filmmaker Sharon Lockhart.

In the same year, joined the multimedia performance collective Dumb Type during the creation of Voyage, and later appeared in 2020 (2020). Also collaborated as dancer and choreographer in performance works by Shiro Takatani, including Bright Room (2008), CHROMA (2012), and ST/LL (2015), touring internationally.

Since 2010, has been based in Okayama, Japan, creating and presenting works at institutions such as Nagi Museum of Contemporary Art and Ohara Museum of Art.

Personal projects include Sarumuko (2014–), Ghosting (2016), and Choreography of Roaring (2022–), exploring themes of transformation, queer narratives in folklore, and relationships between land and body. In 2025, premiered Disco on the Planet.

Also collaborates widely with musicians, Noh performers, and visual artists, and creates choreography for stage, video, and television.

Recipient of the Fukutake Cultural Encouragement Prize in 2016.
